Shino is a unique glaze due to its high alumina content. It behaves differently from most other glazes and is prone to pinholes and crawling, which are usually undesirable effects. I find Shino's undesirable effects charming have been working on learning to control those "messier" and unpredictable effects, creating one-of-a-kind vessels.
